FAQs
How does powder coating work?

Finely  ground particles of pigment and resin are electro-statically  charged
and sprayed onto the products to be coated. The parts to be coated are
positively grounded, so that the charged particles adhere to them until
melted and fuse into a solid coating in a curing oven.

What is your process for powder coating a part?

     Our process is as follows:
       1. De-grease - to clean the part.
          2. Out-Gas - to release any gas and impurities from the metal before
                                 the final firing.
          3. Sand Blast - to remove any leftover paint,or metal imperfections.
The sand blasting also preps the surface so the powder
                                sticks more effectively.
         4. Coat - this is where we lay down the powder.
          5. Cure - in the oven at 400* for 20 minutes.
          6. Delivery - to our satisfied customers.

    How much do you charge?

Our prices are VERY competitive and are based on what that specific job
entails. Things  such as the prep work, if a candy color will be shot, or  any
other special request will affect the final price. To get a quote you can shoot
us an e-mail, call Jaytee at (562) 447-0407 or Andrew at (562) 301-4950.
